September 2025 Redondo Union, Begg & Beach Workouts

The weekday schedule will now be a bit later for at least the next month, due to the beginning of water polo season at RUHS:

Redondo Union High School (RUHS):

• Monday:  the B's will practice from 6:30-7:30 PM and A's & Snr's will practice from 7:30 - 8:30 PM. On 9/29 the B's will practice from 7:00-7:45 and the A's & Snr;s from 7:45 - 8:30 due to an RUHS water polo game. 
• Tuesday & Thursday: B's & C's will practice from 6:30-7:30 PM and C+'s, A's & Snr's will practice for only 1 hour from 7:30 - 8:30 PM. There will be no RUHS practice for C's/C+'s and a beach workout for B's, A's & Snr's on Thursday 9/18 & Tuesday 9/23 due to pool closure.
• Wednesday: practices will continue to be at the beach for this month.
• Sunday: we will continue with our Sunday Stroke & Turn workouts for All Groups from 11 AM – 12 PM.

Redondo Union High School Aquatics Center is an outdoor, heated 15-lane, 25-yard pool with covered bleacher seating. Address: 499 El Redondo Ave, RB, CA 90278. Access from Vincent Street and El Redondo Ave. Parking is available in the main parking lot on Diamond & the softball parking lot on Vincent. During the week, please make sure your child is safe walking through the parking lot, as it tends to be crowded in the evenings.

Begg Pool:

• Wednesday: practices will continue to be at the beach for this month
• Friday: B's, C's & C+'s will practice from 6:00 - 7:00 PM and A's & Snr's will practice from 7:00 - 8:00 PM. 

Begg Pool is an outdoor, heated 6-lane, 25-yard recreational pool in Manhattan Beach. Address: 1402 North Peck Avenue. Parking on Peck Avenue. Follow the path past the Botanical Garden towards Polliwog Park and veer left to enter Begg Pool.

 Beach/Ocean Swim Workouts:

Wednesdays we will continue holding ocean swim workouts. We will have practice for the C’s from 5:30-6:00PM & practice for B’s, A’s & Seniors from 6:00 – 7:00PM.  We will have beach workout for B's, A's & Snr's on Thursday 9/18 & Tuesday 9/23 from 5:30 - 6:30.

We will meet at the lifeguard tower at 22nd street in Hermosa Beach. Parents are more than welcome to join the swims but do so at your own risk--the team is not responsible for parents' safety.
