Welcome to Competitive Swimming with the Surfside Swim Team!

Surfside has been training youth for competitive swimming since 1969. We are located in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County.

We are dedicated to providing swimmers with the opportunity to become the best they can be. Our program offers a wealth of experiences, including friendship, discipline, independence, goal setting, and skills building.

We offer the flexibility to train 6 days a week, with no minimum practice requirements, to support our multi-sport athletes.

Surfside swimmers also love the summer ocean practices, for a unique and fun challenge. Swimmers start as young as five years old and continue with the team through high school.

Surfside is a member of USA Swimming (USAS) and the South Central Swim League (SCSL), allowing us to host and provide a range of competitive swimming opportunities from local intramural meets to invitational meets with over 15 teams. SCSL is comprised of teams from the LA area; USA Swimming is the national organization that oversees all levels of swim training in the U.S.
