I am originally from Rockville, MD, where I grew up swimming competitively for a USS team, RMSC, and also swam for and coached my community swim team, Manor Woods. In addition to coaching, I managed pools during my college summers.

I began swimming with a Masters program in college at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by Princeton Masters, and later UCLA when I moved west to earn my MBA. Until recently, I swam with and helped coach the El Segundo Masters team.

Our family now lives in Redondo Beach. I have one child on the team, currently in the "Senior" group. She has been swimming since the age of 4 and has been on Surfside for the past 9 years. I’ve become more involved with Surfside because I genuinely appreciate the team’s relaxed culture and its mission to make swimming a lifelong sport for our children.
