Special Members meeting at the Surfside Holiday Party on Dec 5th 2025

  • Members gave a verbal approval for board members to continue in their current roles for the team

  • Member Surveys Results.  Elisa shared the results of the members survey:  75% of members who responded rated Surfside favorably (a "10" or "9").  The top things members like about Surfside include: attendance flexibility, coaching, swimmer fun, and the practice times.  Members would like to see more focus on techniques, incentives for swimmer skill improvements, and more variety in workouts (such as dry land).  From a comms perspective, they are looking for more coach-to-parent updates as well as coach-to-swimmer communications.   

  • Communications Updates.  To wrap up, Elisa confirmed that all feedback will be reviewed and incorporated by the board and the coaches to drive improvements.  She reinforced that communications and feedback is welcomed throughout the year; if parents have feedback or questions for coaches, the best time is before practice, in person.  Parents are welcomed and encouraged to email the coach before to set up the time before practice.
